excursion question

We are going to Marseilles in April on the Meraviglia.  I am having trouble deciding which excursion:  1) Avignon and panoramic tour of Marseilles; 2) Aix en Provence or 3)  Avignon and Aix en Provence.  HELP!

i'll also be on the Meraviglia in April - 7-14 - i booked the half day Marseille tour thru Viator.  I'm not booking any of the shore excursions offered thru the cruiseline.  I dont like the way they do it - a lot of time is wasted getting organized into the groups and then there are the inflated prices.  we plan to do a lot of the hop on / hop off in the other ports..... enjoy...mj

it was our first time in Marseilles, so we decided to book the Aix en Provence tour with Provence Amazing Tours. Our guide was Laurent - very accommodating and knowledgeable.  it was nice! I would recommend them.  Also have good walking shoes and be ready to have a full stomach when the tour is done.
