Top 10 Best of Halifax - Royal

Has anyone done the Top 10 Best of Halifax tour with Royal Caribbean?  Decent price today in my cruise planner and just wondering if it's worth it.  Most of the other excursions, unfortunately, are sold out.  Thanks all and happy cruising!

We did this tour a few years ago on a Serenade to Fort Lauderdale repo.  It was excellent then and included everything we wanted to see.  It didn't include inside the fort, but we did stop there and had a chance to look into it through the entrance.  Lunch/shopping stop downtown was on your own for about an hour.  I would recommend it to get a good over view.  We didn't have any time to do the boardwalk area by the pier or any other activities since this took all the port time we had.

What are the stops?  Curious as to what RCI considers the "Top 10".  We've been to Halifax several times, on an auto trip to the Maritimes and, more recently, by ship.

I am curious too since it does not include the Citadel (inside) or the waterfront.

They do cover most of the worthwhile sites in Halifax.  We've never had a desire to go to Peggy's Cove because of the hordes of people there when a ship is in port.  It does look lovely, though.

We had a port call in Halifax last September, our first visit.  We hadn't intended to go to Peggy's Cove, but some folks on the ship were telling us it was "a must," so we wound up hiring a cab for a few hours (also visited the "Titanic" Cemetery), and got to Peggy's Cove before the big buses from the ships arrived. And what a difference it made when they got there, people were just all over the rocks.

You're absolutely posting your question in the correct forum, as your question concerns a port visit and we are glad you are here! Sometimes our members post questions about visiting "ports" when they're visiting on a land-only trip but the forum is friendly, familiar and available so why not post where they're bound to get helpful information? Indeed :)
