Independence teen club age question

We are first time cruisers, and we'll be on Independence this April. My daughter will be 17, but her friend traveling with us will be 18. She really wants to check out the teen area, but we're not sure if they'll let her friend in. Any idea on how this might work out?

They will not let an 18 year old in. No exceptions.

Definitely the 18-year-old is not allowed.  18 is considered an adult.

Our now 22yo was allowed into the teen club when he was 18 over a New Years cruise. I think on the Oasis. We just had to vouch that he was still in high school, which he was.  

 

Maybe it has changed now and probably it depends on the teen club manager. But I would say it’s worth asking. The answer is always no if you don’t ask.
