Odyssey of the Seas Blocks are in the House

Looking at the deck plans there looks like there is a change to the number of Owner Suites from its sister ships.  Does anyone have a confirmed number of OS on Odyssey?

Only the two on deck 9.  They seem to be selling out rather quickly on a few sailings.😉

What were missing OS cabins we’re replaced with?

This ship in general has less of the higher suites than the other Quantum Class ships. On the sister ships, were you had some types of suites around mid-ship, on Odyssey those were replaced with extended balcony cabins or Junior Suites. You will also notice that all the sisters had JS with a big angular balcony on just about every deck mid-ship at the beginning of the hump. On Odyssey, two extended balcony cabins have been put in those locations. The J1 Junior suites on deck 6, are not in the same location compared to the other Quantum Class ships. I haven't done the count, but there may be more "balcony" cabins on Odyssey compared to the sisters due to reduced bigger suites.

Gotta pay for megaships somehow.

Some spreadsheet savant can probably show how much additional revenue they get for the additional rooms.  Probably not a helluva lot more per cruise but over time....

Sure but the current situation should proof that making it more and more crowded and packed does not help...

Yes we know but GS are pretty good. Does the OS on Odyssey have a bidet?

Where is the Beamer headed?

It belongs to the owner.

It goes where he goes. 😊

Wow, 232 and 632 have some really long balconies!  They look nearly as deep as the cabin itself.

That’s a Skoda, not a BMW!   Do you get many of those in the USA?

That had to be their original mindset. Take the square footage of one cabin, make it into two and charge more based on balcony and location.

You are right. Now they will have to do capacity control to limit number of passengers. I think going forward, the idea of taking a ship into dry dock and adding cabins in what use to be public space may no longer be a preference given today's Social Distance requirements.

Those and a few others on the back hump would be the ones to choose for that category balcony cabin.

I don't even need hands to count the number sold on US soil.  Unless someone imports one, they're non-existent here in the US.

I didn't think it was a BMW, the hood looked like it could have been but the grille and lights didn't look right.

Not only that, but the Studio cabin is gone!  As a solo traveler, this is disappointing, unless they moved them.
