New Caledonia; Maré & Lifou - Tour operators or Taxis companies

hi,

I will be one Maré and Lifou in April and I am having a hard time finding any tour operators online. not even taxi companies with a homepage seem to exist.

 

can anyone help me out with some info or contacts?

Both these islands are relatively undeveloped. Mare - almost all the transport on the island will be used for transporting passengers to Yejele beach. There is a market at Tadine, where the tenders dock and where the transport for Yejele beach is found. 

 

Lifou - close to where the tenders dock, you may find a few locals offering excursions. There are quite a number of things you can do within a reasonable walking distance of the tender dock.
