Fairbanks to Seattle

As I suspect you know -- Southwest doesn't fly into Fairbanks.   Alaska Airlines has a number of daily non-stop flights between Fairbanks and Seattle.

If by "best" you  mean cheapest, then either consider applying for an Alaska Airlines credit card and use their companion ticket.  Alaska Airlines also codeshares with a number of other airlines, so, if you are lucky,  you might have enough miles on another carrier for a free ticket.

Our July cruise ends in Fairbanks and we are on an 8am Alaska Airlines flight to Seattle to connect with an American Airlines flight back to Dallas. Fairbanks is much more challenging to fly home from than Anchorage.
