The pier was originally due to be completed in September 2018, then January and now according to the Royal site in March ( I can definitely seeing this being pushed back again if needed by definitely open by May even if they need to dump money into it because it is a fast ROI when more people go ashore to their new cash cow of an attraction.

Most of the other items are due to open in May right before the big summer vacation cruising season.  Those items dates haven't been a moving target but then again if you look at the cost of each new attraction Royal will really want these open as it is like opening a new mint and printing their own money.

In case anyone hasn't seen it, below are links to the dates (Generic Months are given not actual dates) and the price lists:

The dates for the attractions have not slipped, because we are not close to them.  In August 2018, they were still saying the pier would be open in Sept.

Is there a private beach for suite and pinnacles like there is at Labadee?

Yes, right near the cabanas.

There was no private beach for suites and Pinnacle on our January 26 cruise.

I'm sorry.  My brain is foggy right now, operating on too many hours worked.  I wasn't clear, but meant the bungalow booking on Cococay, not the cruise itself.

They have the bungalows, but they might not be what you were expecting. They're at the far end of the beach, spaced about 8-10 feet apart (if that). I think that RCI has set up these areas temporarily so they can sell them, perhaps at a reduced price since they aren't yet as advertised. The cabanas were $310 for the day on the day we were there. But there were no overwater ones that I could see from outside.

Currently, there is a small Cabana area near the wave runners.  That is often used as a suite beach and often  allows Pinnacle access.    Just a  few rows of chairs, no shade but  a  nice lunch.  We were granted  access on a few recent Enchantment cruises ( low pinnacle count) but others have reported  they were denied access because of high Pinnacle numbers (I think over 70 Pinnacles).

I asked RCCL C&A about any suite/pinnacle areas on the new  Coco Cay and I was told  there  are no plans for such  areas.

Thank you.  We don't mind where they are, as long as it's quiet.  We had this huge credit from our booking, and decided to splurge, using it as a quiet place to read and enjoy a lounger with a drink.  I really appreciate you letting me know.

Interesting, the full day water park on our Sept sailing is $68 for both kids and adults.  The zipline and water park is over $100.  It surprises me that it varies that much sailing to sailing.

It's not really surprising the water park rate changes. Atlantis in Nassau does the same. In the winter its less money, since its more likely to be cooler, they have a harder time getting guests to come in. Royal is just doing the same. September = warmer = charge more, November = cooler = charge less

I booked the full day water park for the October 28 sailing of the Mariner for $37 pp.  The price rose for a few days, and is now back down to $37.  Zipline and water park is $99.

I erroneously thought that (1) the Oasis Lagoon was part of the thrill park, and (2) there was also going to be a lazy river.  Since I frequently go to the water park in Tampa and my SO is not interested in either the slides or the wave pool, there is really nothing in the thrill park that I need to pay for, so I am going to cancel.  I find it very ironic that I found something for a great price and it turned out to be nothing that I am interested in after all.

Any guesses about the water park?  My kids will want to check it our they will be 10 and 12.  One of us need to be around for supervision purposes, but don't need to slide.  Do I need to buy 3  passes so that we can have an adult near the slides??

We got a look at CoCoCay on Saturday Feb8th on our two day Mariner cruise. Weather kept us from tendering, and from what I could see it sure looks like there is a lot more to do. We had a good look for probably an hour before sailing away from the island. Then in the afternoon a young man was seriously injured and the captain took us into port Miami early Saturday night to get the guest medical attention. After the passenger was taken off we turned around and sailed back out so that the shops and casino could open back up, and we were right back into port at 6am Sunday. No more two day cruises for me!

No info on these kinds of details as yet.  Once the park is open, we will have reports.

Two day cruises are fairly rare. We are scheduled for a two day later this month.

I only did this one to get my Prime status in the casino. We usually do 7 day cruises. This was also our first as a Diamond member!

Yes and anyone can gain access to the Oasis pool itself for much less, I think around $60 per adult.  It probably includes a lounger but no shade unless you can find a tree.  When I saw that we decided to nix the cabana. However, my cruise planner doesn't have Oasis Lagoon available yet, just the Thrill Waterpark and the zip line.  But I'm betting it will be added before our Sept. cruise.  The pool is already plastered according to the pics we saw of the bridge spanning the pool in the other thread.

A stop at Coco Cay.  Prior to the new additions, it was simply stated as Coco Cay on the itinerary.

We will be setting sail in March 2020. We are able to book cabana's now. Can you tell me which beach is better? Chill or South Beach?

Yup.  We booked a Thrill Cabana for later this year (5 people) based on its very convenient location near all the water park activities, as well as amenities.  We can always walk over to other areas...but that's where we'll hang most of the time.
