Carnival vs Royal Caribbean

I’m having the hardest time choosing a cruise between Carnival and Royal Caribbean. I’m in my early 30’s and will be taking my children with me (4 & 12). I want to make sure everyone is happy and has enough to do on the ship. Please help!

There will be ample activities for your children on either so pick the one you would like best.

We much prefer Carnival when taking kids.  We much prefer RC when we don't have kids.
