Love the penguin pics, and baby chicks is there anything cuter?  What made this #3 on your list?  Was it the tour or the getting there?

The food on your ship looks delicious, or I am just really hungry with no lunch.

Another amazing glacier, even with the fog.

We do love seeing the penguins and chicks . Part of it was getting there and that it could be organized better . At our other stops we had a greater variety and closer encounters for a longer time and with fewer people . We do enjoy the food on cruises and thought that HAL did a great job .  :classic_biggrin:

Be aware that next summer season [20/21] will probably be Zaandam & other large cruise ships last in the Antarctic area south of  60 deg. South - due to new Ice Class rules that are now in force.

The new rules come fully into effect on 1st January 2022, but most vessels certificates will run out before then & this stops them operating right up to the deadline.

The same applies to Greenland as it is north of 60N, but Iceland & Norwegian coast are exempt due to Gulf Stream.

With the bird still visible in the lower right corner , I observed some strange colors and shapes in the water

Zooming in I really enjoyed what the wake was doing to the shape and texture of the water
