Thanks.  My wife seemed to think the glass blowing area was going away to be replaced with a LCG.

The new screen back there on the Lawn looks fun though.  Looking forward to watching movies under the stars, although I will say the steady rumble from the stacks back there will make quiet movies a bit challenging to watch.

And our butts will get numb from sitting on the grass for 2 hours.

We have had very decent steaks and lamb chops there and it is more fun with a small group.

Have been at LCG on windy days with glare in the evenings and they pull the screens to mitigate it. Works fine

Have had lunch there as well which was a nice venue and meal= a great alt from the OceanView. That was back when LCG and The Porch were open for lunch and the UDP (which doesn't exist anymore)

That TV is going to be problematic if they run it like the rooftop deck 12 (M-class)..which is constant noise and too loud.

There are so few places to go for quiet and that green lawn space and chairs up there was one of them.

I fear Celebrity is becoming more "Carnival/RCCL"  with noise/sound/activity overload.

On the Reflection it is basically had fixed 'plastic' panels on it I recall. Food was really good. I was surprised by the table of 10 next to us. They ordered individually and extra steaks that were different for a few to share. I loved the lamb chops, and I did ask how many were in an order, was told as many as I wanted, so I ordered 4 and was served 6. 2 nights later we were eating in The Porch and they told us that the next night the Lawn Grill was 50% off... so we booked it again. I couldn't make up my mind between the Rib Steak and Lamb chops again (different waiter) so he suggested I get both... OK, but just 2 Lamb chops, got only 3 and the steak, which was way too much. The TV screen was on both nights. No sound, movie started much later, just showing scenery and waterfalls.

Wish they had both the LG and The Porch on the Equinox.. and The Porch was a really good deal for the price.

They had the TV on the Reflection? Interesting, I don't recall that ... they must have had it off the evening when the jazz was being played.

I second that. We’ve had very enjoyable meals at both.. The veal chop at the LG was fabulous!  One night on the Reflection there was a special movie night with food pairings while we were dining at the LG., but we never heard a sound from the screen

Don't just appreciate art, experience it. Witness the incredible, gorgeous art of glassblowing with intimate live demonstrations. Watch and learn from professional glassblowers in this one-of-a-kind exhibition on Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Eclipse.

This from the current info on the celebrity web site. Still on deck 15

Those “bird cages”...rentable or first come first served? Anyone know?  Maybe no info until the first 2-3 cruises back starting next week.

For fee only. Includes waters/snacks etc. Fee varies re sea day vs port day. They WILL kick you out if you are there without payment.  Attendants bring food/bev etc.

Equinox is getting very close to Bermuda as of the wrting of this post.

A couple new photos have been uploaded on Instagram, however they don't seem to show any revolutionized interior; the casino and the fitness room both seem to be in the same state as pre-revolution (click the arrows on the image to scroll through the images).

And a minor fresh-up of the pool deck:

There were no plans to redesign the Casino (as was done on M Class Ships)

All furniture will be replaced on the pool deck. . .

I hope the blue paint in the pool sticks better than the blue paint they used on the Solarium pool in February.  I have a swim suit with the butt colored that blue after sitting on the side of the pool for a few minutes.

😲  Sounds like they didn't allow the paint to cure properly before filling the pool

OR the chemicals are too high...OR....

Have read that the chlorine smell is released when ....https://www.nspf.org/news/“chemical-smell”-pool-isn’t-what-you-think-it

which is why I stay out of the pools. The chlorine smell in the Solarium is so high that it makes it hard to breath (asthmatic)

Hope X is paying for a new swimsuit! Paint is a new one!

Solarium pools and hot tubs  are swimsuit killers in general..We bring our oldest ones and after they stretch out, we toss them out .

I guess we can only really expect so much for $500M spread across the fleet... compared to the $155M Carnival invested in a single ship (Destiny > Sunshine) for it's makeover.

$500M ain't what it used to be!

A sneak peek at the new retreat. Complaints about fake succulents, low chairs and banquette seating in 3...2...1....

Looks barren.. sort of like a dr"s waiting room

.could be improved with some nice art on the walls,  and live flowers  for some color...
