Looking for missed connection coverage

I had a policy with Allianz for a trip completed a few weeks ago.  It included Missed Connection Coverage.  I have a quote for a policy for a trip this year, but the new policy says nothing about Missed Connection Coverage.  I called and confirmed they no longer offer it.  The sales rep told me it's now part of trip interruption / cancellation coverage.  Has anyone else run into this?

 

Does anyone know of a company that does offer Missed Connection Coverage?

I’m sure someone would like to help but we need to know what you mean by missed connection. Your definition and expectation could be vastly different than mine. To include missed what connection?

My previous insurance gave a good example... you are stuck in traffic and you miss your flight.  That is a missed connection.  I had Allianz before.  I no longer see that as an option.  I believe AIG has some plans with that as an option.

 

I will do some more research before making a decision.
