suesnake2002 Posted February 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Let me say I am not a big gambler. I went to Borgata last year for one overnite stay. I hadn't been in years. In fact had to get new mlife card. I also play free slots on my phone, that has rewards for cruises. Well I got an email offer of up to 40% off a cruise. Sure I tell myself. Another fake sale. I don't gamble enough for that. Well I'll call just for poops and giggles. I had been looking at a nov 2019, on grandeur. Lowest price was $2134 for 2 in a js, this morning before calling it was priced at $2500. You could've knocked me over with a feather. The price I was quoted was $1800. Wow. I booked right then and there, then called hubby and told him. I am very pleasantly surprised

suesnake2002 Posted February 13, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Well we are on day two of trying to transfer this over to my Ta. I was told by Carol at casino royal "no problem" ha! Except the price keeps changing. This is from my TA yesterday: Hi Susan, I have been with casino department for about an hour now. The casino discounts and insurance felt off when the booking was transferred. Or though the casino discount was re applied the insurance cost increased. I am awaiting to hear back from a Supervisor for a resolution on this matter. I will advise you soon. I am still waiting for an update!!
Rare LMaxwell Posted February 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Any change made on a casino booking can cause big headaches. I just got same email and wanted to add the M Life benefits to an already booked sailing, as indicated in the email. When I called it was going to cancel the reservation so they just added OBC in the amount of the benefit. I too priced a summer cruise and the price was better than I had seen online but def not 40% less. I think we have until March 1 to use the offer. I'll be at MGM next week so may hold off and see if they offer anything else on property to book a cruise.
suesnake2002 Posted February 14, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Still haven't heard from TA, but i did get an email for a survey for my recent transaction. BIG MISTAKE With my cruise still in limbo it was not favorable. Good luck Maxwell, on your gambling and cruises.
Mythbuster Posted February 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I hope everything works out. Since you aren't a regular at the casinos, I just wanted to remind you that the program goes the other direction with MLife. I am Diamond which gets me the Gold MLife level with many perks when I go to Vegas on business. VIP check-in, upgraded room, VIP line at all MLIfe buffets and more at all MLife properties. suesnake2002 Posted February 14, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Yes myth buster i recall that there where special perks. I will be diamond after my nov cruise 💎 Unfortunately my casinos of choice are mohegan sun, and foxwoods in ct. A beautiful drive thru farmland and wineries, with a ferry over to ct. Beats the heck out of a 4 hour drive to nj on parkways. I have never been to Vegas.
