Disembarking day New York with luggage

In June we end our cruise in New York Manhattan. Before our international flight we have a little bit more than a half day left. Does anyone have suggestions what to do that day? We know there is lot to do in New York but our luggage will be the problem. Are there some tours to do with luggage? Or can we store our luggage somewhere?

Thank you very much!

There is a company in the city where you can store luggage, Schwartz. What time is your flight? What airport?

Timing is critical. A half day is almost no time at all considering the suggested lead times to get to LGA or JFK due to traffic or airport construction.

I agree with above... 1/2 day is not really a lot of time.  I am going with 6 hours for 1/2 day.

It is recommended you get to the airport 2 hours (2 1/2 - 3 for international) ahead of time.

I would allow a minimum of an hour travel time to the airport.  LGA maybe a little less... ( you more or less pass LGA on the way to JFK).

That leave you with 2 or 3 hours left... not a lot of time.

You may be better off just walking along the water for a bit before heading out.

There is the USS Intrepid right next to the Cruise Piers to consider.
