Oahu day trip Hawaii

Im looking for advise for a trip on Oahu this April, we would like to visit pearl harbour, and then travel to the North shore/pineapple plantation area of the Island. Our ship arrives at 7.00am , leaves at 11.00pm, so we have plenty of time, we saw some on Viator, but they leave at 7.00am, so not suitable, any suggestions?

You are looking for a tour?  The easiest would be to rent a car.  But, I think that some tour companies adjust their schedule to accommodate cruise ship passengers.  You might try contacting companies that have tours you are interested in.  Also, try posting the question on the Roll Call for your cruise.  There may be others wanting to do the same thing.  Cherie

Honestly unless you set up a private tour or join one on your cruise roll call the best way to do all is renting a car.

Renting a car for the day is by far the best plan.

Rent a car.  You can basically drive the entire island in a day.  Bring some towels from the cruise ship and get your car.  There are several Enterprise locations within easy taxi ride from pier.  Head East, checking out Hanauma Bay and up the east coast.  Check out all the beaches.  Reach the top Turtle Bay and then head west past the big wave beaches (surfing beaches) and then come back down  straight through the center of the island.  You can even stop at the Outlet Mall on your way back to Honolulu.  If you are there on a Saturday or Sunday, there is a big flea market as well.  Ditch the car on your return and walk the main drag or walk on the Waikiki beach (very pebbly) but you can at least say you did it.  You will far appreciate all of Oahu's better beaches first.  A car is the way to go!!!
