Late flight out of Newark - Q about NYC Tour post-cruise

We have a 6:30pm flight out of EWR after our Anthem cruise. I see Royal has a NYC tour with transfer to EWR for $99 per person. This might be worth considering - but a quick question: Does anyone know when you turn over your luggage to be transferred to EWR? Is it the night before? Or in the morning? Or up to you to choose? TIA

You collect your luggage as usual after disembarking and before immigration etc. You then walk out to the coach and the driver stows your luggage in the hold of the coach. You do the tour. There is normally just one stop near the 'twin towers' for about 45-60 mins. You will get dropped at EWR (whichever terminal you need) at about 2.30pm.
