Cab Options in Roatan

My group of 4 adults and 2 children are planning a visit to Daniel Johnson's Monkey Sloth and Hangout. According to his website it is a $10 entry fee pp and are welcome to pop in at any point of the day OR pay $30 pp transportation included. Considering this, we were thinking of taking a cab there and back once in port in order to save money. We would appreciate advice on the cab options and cost to see if it is worth saving $20 pp. Thank you!

I wouldn't take a cab.   They  are expensive. We have found it cheaper to just use a tour guide for the day.  We used one just to go to the beach last trip.  Go to the roatan board here and ask for a good company.  We have used Ronys and island marketing.

Another vote for Rony's. They will pick you up right outside of the port and take you to Daniel Johnson's, the west end, and anywhere else you want to go. Rony's was $25/pp for 4 people for a private driver for the entire day. ($30/pp for 3 people, $40/pp for 2 people or $80 for 1 person)
