Best Cancel For Any Reason Cruise Insurance

I need some quick recommendations because we need to purchase by tomorrow.  We need cancel for any reason and no pre existing conditions clause.  We are looking for highest percent back.  Tia.

They'll help you with some questions to find a policy that fits your needs.

 

We've had good luck with claims from Travel Insured, and TIS has helped us once overseas when I landed in hospital.

Don't disregard your cruise lines insurance when it comes to CFAR.

Independent company like Travel Guard Gold requires you to cancel at least 48 hours prior to trip departure while only offering 50% future cruise credit,,,, while Princess Platinum allows you to cancel up to time of scheduled departure with 100% future cruise credit..

I'm surprised that a third party insurer only offers "future cruise credit".

 

In any event, Travel Insured offers 75% for CFAR in *cash*; you get to decide whether to take another trip, and if so, with any travel provider you wish.

 

But yes, there is that 48 hour before departure needed for CFAR.

For regular "covered reason", there is no such timing, but one does need to notify the insurer ASAP,  so they don't end up with extra costs that might have been avoided, etc.
