Thank you for all the pics! Great to finally see lots of photos of this ship post-Revolution. Everything looks good so far except maybe the Oceanview Bar. Not sure what they were thinking with that "awning" design. It's totally non-functional for keeping out sun or rain.

Wonderful to see the pictures.   Thank you so much for all your effort.

Al Bacchio  looks the same except new carpet and possibly new chairs.

There were a number of questions on one of my threads as to where the Elevator to the Retreat is located.   Did you happen to notice?

SAVE one for funerals, weddings and bar mitzfah's.  consider Donating the rest to Career Gear.

LOL.. I already donated all the rest of my "regular" business duds to a similar organization.  I have a standard funeral outfit (sadly used too often these days,)  the weddings and Bar Mitzvahs I usually go to require outfits a little flashier than my Bangkok suits, neither of which I can seem to part with.  I have matching Charles Jourdan shoes that go with one of the suits, also purchased in Bangkok.  I went with an empty suitcase and came home with it full.

Does the couch pull out? Also could you try to find out what the plan is for Qsine? Will they eventually switch over to LPC, or will they offer both menus? Thanks in advance!

There’s a drop down bed in the ceiling.

I’ll ask when we go to Qsine on 21st

Thank you so much! You have an excellent way of taking a photo that absolutely gives a great visual to a space. If it fits into your schedule, a request for pictures of the gym and, specifically, the area with the machines. And, due to conversation here about the new area of AQ staterooms and what has happened to the men's/women's locker rooms and the public dry sauna area within those facilities.... again, if it fits into your schedule, I am so interested in how this area of the ship was changed.

There’ll probably be thunder and lightening if I cross the gym threshold lol but I’ll try and see what’s happening

Thanks so much for the pics! Appreciate it

It is surprising to see the same chairs in Bacio

and places that have some older colors/decor vs the neutrals in others

However with neutral floor coverings, perhaps it looks like pops of color/accents?

Day 1 cont Eventually got to the room and found they’d broken the handle on my suitcase. Had to empty it and they’ve taken it away for repair or they will replace all auctioned efficiently.

After a couple of drinks in the Martini Bar which is feeling a bit like a corridor, we might have to move on we had dinner in the Tuscan Grill having used the 30% first day offer.

Lovely meal I had beef carpaccio, half size short rib pappadelli ragu and a fillet mignon. Sharon has the pork belly, mozzarella salad and the rib eye. Really great food and service. The restaurant was empty though with only 5 other couples present.

We chatted with our waiter, Sergio who explained that the Tuscan had been shortened with the refurb and also that all crew had stayed on board and been used as labour etc. He seemed to spend a lot of time ripping up carpets!

He was very proud of the Ocean View and MDR, which we will see tonight. He also said that things weren’t finished that the builders had been onboard all last week and today.

Rest day today and in Solarium though it’s overcast. Managed by fluke to find the Sauna which is still in the men’s changing room. I don’t know if it’s smaller etc

Enjoying your review and pictures.  Quick question- can you ask if ALL the cabins are being refurbished?  We’re on the Connie Sept 2020 in an OV opposite the conference center and I know these cabins were added later.

Looking forward to following along on your trip as this is one we want to do in the future.  Enjoy and have a wonderful cruise!

Before this cruise there was a rumour that not all rooms had been refurbed. I was talking to Celeb about something else and asked and they emailed the hotel director who replied and confirmed all rooms had been refurbed. Haven’t heard otherwise onboard
