cruiseguy1016 Posted February 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2019 The easy answer is no. If they are family members eligible to share your C&A status, then they would be eligible for the perks on their own but sharing is not allowed. Personally, I feel there should be more requirements for the SO designation.🤔 Now, I've definitely benefited by riding my WIFES coattails. I wasn’t asking as much for now as in for the future. I know hold doesn’t have a lot of perks, but we plan to cruise together more in the future. I know some ships have a lounge for diamond and I would hate it if only I could go but he couldn’t. The mention of the points more was to show how difficult it could be to gain 29 points to catch up to me

That's one reason Diamond (and above) level members get 3 drink vouchers per evening, they can go to any bar and use their perks while visiting with those who don't have access to the lounge. If so, then just call RCI customer service and link your points. My sister's new husband sailed as Diamond on his very first cruise after she called to have him linked. JS and above cabins get 2 points per night, so two 7 night cruises would catch him up pretty quick. 2x14 = 28.
