marylizcat Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) This is a new port of call for Marella. Found an interesting article about it: http://www.loopjamaica.com/content/port-royals-floating-cruise-ship-pier-arrives-jamaica. Seems that Marella is the first cruise line booked to use the new pier next January. Hope they finish it on time! Apparently the same system as used in Geiranger, Norway, for those who have been there. Vitalsign Posted February 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2019 The first link doesn't work now but the second does and it sounds a great experience berthing in Port Royal from being at anchor.Port Royal sounds very interesting but I doubt I'd want to visit Kingston (high murder rate) Thanks for the link
marylizcat Posted February 15, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted February 15, 2019 Yes, I suspect the tours won’t go to Kingston! Sorry my link no longer works, how about this one? http://www.loopjamaica.com/content/port-royals-floating-cruise-ship-pier-arrives-jamaica
