Cool videos, but it would have been nice to see what they did other than put a fresh coat of paint on her.

 

It wasn't supposed to be a overhelming drydock - it already had all the 2.0 items - but maybe show what was changed. I'd be curious if they did anything to staterooms other than the rumored carpet changes. Maybe change the TV's to flat screens?

Please make sure to report back with your findings. 🙂 I'm curious if they did anything beyond some touch-ups and minor changes I heard as "rumor"

 

Updated carpets/blinds in staterooms - maybe updated the televisions (some rooms still had the old tube style).

New tables/chairs in the dining room.

Newer slots and new tables in the casino, and changed the layout. (The roulette tables were so close to the walkway, some of the players were pretty much in the way).

Is this Sunday’s sailing (February 17) the first sailing after dry dock? I have neighbors on that cruise.

I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember the source) that Pride would also be getting new, upgraded WIFI.

Was on the Pride in January and the Wi-Fi was horrible.  Hopefully they will improve it during drydock.

 

As of 5pm today cruisemapper still shows the Pride in Freeport.  I wonder when it has to leave in order to make it back to Baltimore for Sunday's regularly scheduled departure?

The normal scheduled passenger itinerary has the Pride departing Freeport at 2PM on Friday to reach Baltimore on Sunday at 8AM.  Unless they can sail that thing faster without passengers (and it didn't seem to move any faster on the trip to drydock), it almost certainly delayed.

MarineTraffic shows that she departed Freeport a few minutes ago.

The 4K cabin had their French doors removed & replaced with floor to ceiling windows. 😞 I'm not happy about it, but I understand why that had to be done. Once again, the bad behavior of a few has ruined things for the many. 😞

I know the Pride was  doing the 4K Staterooms over by taking out the French Doors and installing Floor to Ceiling windows.

Can't wait to read the reports on updates to the staterooms.  I hope adding USB ports, new colors.  When we were on the Pride we had new curtains and carpet which were blue based similar to the newer ships.

No new USB ports in our suite. They did put in a new carpet and bathtub, no more jet tub.

 

In public areas a lot of new carpet and a really nice arcade. Both stores got new lighting and carpet as well.

Thanks for the info.  Seems like a mixed bag.  No USB but Yes to carpets, etc.

 

Are there still CRT televisions?  Or did they finally replace them all with flat panel TVs?

Flat panel tv in our suite, but the remote is broken.  Fresh paint smell everywhere.  Can't tell if the internet is any better yet, still have land based mobile service, so nobody using ships wifi
