Viking Homelands Tour spending money

Any thoughts on how much spending money to bring on the Scandinavian/Northern European cruise? The problem is that we would need to bring several different kinds of money! We don't plan on spending much. Maybe a few meals, and tipping of tour guides.

Why do you have to bring it with you? Those countries have modern conveniences like ATMs, just like you have at home.  But, you'll get a better exchange rate than you'll get at home.

Why not come over to the Viking Ocean Board, where lots of posters have taken this cruise.

I usually bring  a small amount of local currency  but  if you have a Credit card  with no FTF  then just use it for meals

hit an ATM  in the port  for  a small amount of cash for tips or buying from the street vendors ..the fee is mininal in the grand scheme of things
