LAX flight time

What would be the earliest flight time you would do out of LAX? Itinerary says 8am arrival in San pedro. Earliest flight I was looking at leaves at 1 or 1:20p.  We always fly home the next day but this is a 16 night cruise and with leaving a one year old and 4 year old with the grandparents I will be anxious to get home! The flights are much more expensive for the next day plus a hotel for the night.

You can make a 1pm flight pretty easily.
