Port to Barcelona Airport

Hi.  We will be debarking the Oasis of the Seas on Sunday, June 16th.  Royal Caribbean's website says we arrive in Barcelona at 5:00 a.m.  We have flights out of Barcelona to Chicago (with a layover in Dublin) at 11:00 a.m.  If we walked off the ship with our bags, would we make our 11:00 a.m. flight?  Have anyone ever caught a flight around this time?

Yes. Take a cab...there will be tons of them. 

 

Docking at 5am never means getting off at 5:15. But you will make your flight. It is 30 minutes or less to the airport.

Just beat the crowds, Oasis in peak season. Be in a taxi by 8 AM and you'll be fine.

Do be in an early disembarkation group just to beat the crowd, but you have plenty of time to make that flight.

I just finished our cruise in Barcelona on Thursday and there were many cabs even with multiple ships in port. Dock workers move the lines and organize the Taxi’s efficiently. It was a 39€ flat fee from the port to the airport.
