Drinking alcohol on Independence of the seas Qs

Hi we're going on a 3 night cruise the end of August sailing from Southampton to bridges and France, taking grandson whose 17 would he  be allowed a alcohol drink in the restaurants?

What drinks can we take on to the ship?

Like wine, beer soft drinks.

Anyone know any prices of onboard drinks, glass wine, coke/pepsi , pint larger?

The drinking age will be 18 on your specific itinerary...Will he be able to (get away with) having a drink while sitting at dinner with you ... maybe....maybe not.

2 750 ml bottles of wine and up 12 500 ml bottle of soda, no beer.

You will not be able to buy a drinks package (alcohol) on this 3n sailing FYI.

Hi sailing on Indy in October just wondered can you get Strongbow cider on board or any cider for that matter we got the deluxe drinks package.

He will be flagged as underage on his seapass card so he will not be able to order alcohol in any of the venues.  Best not to order it for him either.  See the RC alcohol policy: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/international-age-policy

Yes they had it at a few bars and definitely at Playmakers and likely the pub - we usually go to the pub on this class but Playmakers quickly became our go to!

I've seen Strongbow and the Angry one too.
