El Cobre Excursion in Santiago de Cuba

Recommended Posts

Has anyone done this excursion?  We are going to Cuba on Oceania Insignia and have booked this excursion for our second day, after a private tour on the first day.

However, the private tour mentioned going to this site and climbing 310 steps to the top of the hill for the view and to see the El Cimarron Monument.  I can't seem to find out if the ship's excursion includes that part.

If anyone has done this as an excursion and has any specific details of the tour, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.
