Table for Two

Sailing on Regal next month; can't wait...

Does anyone know if it's out of the question to ask for and get the same table for two in one of the main dining rooms?

It's not that we're anti-social, but I have a hard time engaging in conversation due to hearing loss.

We have Traditional Dining in Alfredo's.

Thanks all.

Just ask ahead for a table for two. Call princess or your TA and have them change your preference.

The Maitre D' will hold "office hours" during the afternoon on embarkation day. Time and place will be noted in the Patter. He/she can tell you what type of table your are at and make any needed changes if possible. We have requested a table for two and have been assigned to ones of various capacity. The one at a table for ten, after booking more than a year in advance, was mind boggling.

Be aware their "tables for two" are about 18 inches away from the next table.....so it's not quite "private"......you'll make friends anyway.

That's not always the case. Sometimes your table is next to the wall and the next table might be a round table for 6 or more and 2-3 feet away.

You might go to Princess.com and go to your cruise personalizer and request a table for 2 there, or go through your TA and request the same if you haven't already done so.

If you switch to Anytime , you are guaranteed to have a table for 2 every night ,although at busy times ,you may get a pager .

As previously posted , many tables for 2 are a foot or so between tables .

We did the Eastbound and Westbound TA's last year on the Regal and on both we had ATD, same waiter, same time-7:30ish, but pretty much the same table within a group of 4 two tops. The other PAX's we meant also kept the same tables and time, so basically we ate together with a space between tables, this occurred on each direction of the respective cruise.

Oops, yes---Allegro aft.

I am confused on what dining you have? Traditional or Anytime?

Allegro deck 6 aft is a traditional DR.

i agree go to your booking and request a table for 2.

Also see the MD on embarkation day to double check your request.

Rather than bothering the MD on embarkation, go to the Allegro DR and find your table. If it is what you want then all is well. If not, then go to the MD

Paul   we have tried that in the past.   Problem we faced was the tables did not have the table numbers on them.   Only way we could find out was seeing the MD.    They don't make it easy.   lol

That's very common on most of the ships.

No numbers are put on the tables until dining time.

And the table numbers can change.
