AQSC stateroom with bedding for 3

Hi all!  My parents and I just booked an Ohio river cruise from Pittsburgh to Louisville in June 2020.  The boat will be the renovated American Countess.  My mother is in a wheelchair, so we booked an ADA-compliant stateroom with a private veranda.  I will be traveling with them, and the travel agent booked all of us in the same cabin.

Has anyone ever stayed with 3 people in a stateroom on any of the American Queen Steamboat Company vessels?  I am wondering what the bedding for a third person would be like -- presumably the couch folds out, but I wanted to see if anyone had seen that type of setup.

We are very excited about this journey!  We had to put it off until next year because in 2019 all the accessible cabins were booked for the cruises we were interested in.

Thanks!

Honestly, it would be best to call the AQSC office and ask how the third person's bedding will be. I can say that I have been on the AMERICAN QUEEN and the inside rooms which accommodate three have one metal framed twin bed and a twin bed sized metal framed bunk bed. The outside rooms on the AQ which can berth three passengers all had twin sized sleeper sofas for the third person.

Also as of now the AMERICAN COUNTESS is still in the shipyard being converted from a former casino boat, and has not started in the tourist boat trade yet. (Tourist boat is an old river term applied to boats that did not carry freight and provided what today is called cruising.)

Thanks, Calliope!

My parents and I decided to split up into two cabins because we realized that (a) I snore and (b) my Mom is a very light sleeper.  So the issue is now moot for us.  But I do think it would be a big help to future cruisers if anyone could post photos of how some of the AQSC ships handle a 3rd person in the cabin.  I searched far and wide on the internet with no luck!

Thanks again!
