Twickenham Posted March 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Three months is pretty standard, sometimes the high-speed trains go on saie 4 months out but that's the max. I would expect your dates to be released within the next couple of weeks or so.
Langoustine Posted March 2, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Try Monday. If that doesn't work, try the following Monday.
euro cruiser Posted March 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Trenitalia has a twice-annual timetable adjustment in early June so ticketing for the weeks just after that adjustment is often not as far out. Italotreno is a different company but they use the same tracks and the same stations as Trenitalia, so changes to the Trenitalia schedule will impact Italotreno. Moxiefurball Posted March 14, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Well i was hoping to book way ahead and get a cheap rate for premium, ill keep checking everyday but if they don't start selling June 12 until early June, I may be paying highest rates. euro cruiser Posted March 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2019 It won't be that late, just not as early as at other times. All you can do is be vigilant about checking the web sites (Trenitalia and Italotreno) each day.
deadzone1003 Posted March 15, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2019 I believe they are on sale now. Look at trainline.com where you can see the schedules of trains for both companies.

Look at trainline.com where you can see the schedules of trains for both companies. One of several problems with using third party sites like this is that they often post "assumed" schedules rather than actual ones, so they look like they information that they really don't. Some sites go so far as to sell tickets on as yet non-existent trains, betting that the schedule won't change much, then if it does they simply refund your money. By the time this happens you may have missed the opportunity to get the lower priced tickets available directly from the suppliers.
Moxiefurball Posted March 16, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Ok thanks for all answers . Actually a website called www.loco2.com just this morning advised me that June 12 had opened up. So I went straight to Italotreno direct and booked my trip from Venice St Lucia to Roma Termini finally!!! Of course the rates after June 8 went up but not too bad. Interestingly , only italotreno has opened up, not Trenitalia but italotreno seems to have lower prices anyway.
