Carlys_chaos Posted March 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) Hello! My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary next February and are booking a cruise. We can't decide between 7 Day Eastern Carribean on the Carnival Breeze or 7 Day Western Caribbean on NCL Breakaway. Thoughts? We've been on both cruise lines, but only a short 3 day cruise on the Norwegian Sun. Advice? Both seem great and we want to book this week! Cruzaholic41 Posted March 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2019 That’s a toss-up. I’ve been on both and I’d rate them exactly the same. Both are newer ships that are full of activities. Breakaway’s entertainment is a little better, but Carnival’s food is better. I’d flip a coin in that one, or just go with the better price. However, if you want to step it up, I recommend RCI Oasis Class.
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted March 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2019 I'd choose based on the itinerary. What are the itineraries? I agree with Cruzaholic.

Cruzaholic41 Posted March 5, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2019 I’d go with the Eastern route. IOW, Carnival Breeze.

But I'd gladly skip Cozumel. Ocho Rios would depend on your activities there. If beach - I'd skip. If zip lining and Dunn's falls - that would be fun. Grand Cayman is one of the lovely destinations we like very much.
Carlys_chaos Posted March 9, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted March 9, 2019 Follow Up: We ruled out NCL. We are now between Carnivals Eastern and Royal Caribbean's Eastern on the Harmony of the Seas. I've never sailed Royal Caribbean or a ship that big. Thoughts?

Not even a fair contest.
LibertyGirl7 Posted March 27, 2019 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2019 Agreed... Harmony of the Seas for sure! I did like the Breeze as well but if I had a choice between the two it would be Harmonty hands down.
