Afternoon Snorkel in St Thomas

I'm getting ready to sail on the Caribbean Princess on Saturday (9 March) and will be arriving at St Thomas on 12 March.  I would love to snorkel there but the problem is that we don't arrive until 12:30pm.  I'm having trouble finding a company that offers an afternoon excursion that leaves late enough.  There are some through the cruiseline available but I was looking for a local option.  Does anyone have any recommendations/experiences they could share?

Thanks,

Samantha

You can take a cab to Secret Harbor and snorkel from shore there. We have our own gear but  I believe you can rent gear at the dive shop at Secret Harbor.    We did this a few years ago, and the snorkeling was pretty decent.  We leave on the Crown on 3/7.  This time we are going to take a cab either Lindquist Beach or Sapphire Beach.  I've read that there is decent  shore snorkeling at both of these.  Enjoy the Caribbean Princess, I'm sure you will!

I have a link to secret harbor's website below
