Balcony on Symphony

Can the partition that separates the balcony's in the ocean view balcony rooms be removed or opened.

Family did this on Liberty and worked out great.

It can be done on Allure, so I assume all Oasis class ships.

Partitions can be opened, pending approval from ship's management.  Speak to your stateroom attendant.

Might depend on placement - I seem to recall that every so often there is a structural component (like between fire zones or something?) where that particular partition isn't able to be opened.

It's true that management may deny the request if adjacent balconies are in different fire zones.

We are on Symphony and they opened the partitions yesterday during the balcony cleaning. So I do know that it is possible to open them.

From our BW balconies on Harmony, Allure and Oasis I was able to see a few dividers that were not able to be opened.  I assumed these were the fire zone dividers.
