eagle beach palm beach ?

First timers to Aruba there off RC Navigator on March 20. Hoping for day at beach taxi and possibly rent sunbed or would just lie on beach on towel if had to. Best beach to hitfor day and have spot of lunch few beers

Eagle Beach is the first big public beach you hit on the 10 bus.  Palm is a bit farther.  Around $2.50 each way and they will make change if they have it.  Frankly you can ride the bus all the way to the Marriott (Melmak area) or get off anywhere.  Bars and rental umbrellas in lots of places.  We just get off at a random location, walk the beach for a while and take another bus back.  The vans with red license plates are a bit cheaper and run a bit more often but are not allowed in the bus depot. They drop off just before the depot.  Regular buses run around every 20 minutes.  Don't be concerned when bus turns inland near the beaches - route goes by a hospital over there and then comes back along the beach.  See arubus.com for details and routes.
