Luggage Transfer/Storage Option

So, I just got off the Breakaway on Sunday and used Advance Check In to transport my luggage from the cruise terminal to the airport.  I’m happy to say that it all worked as described!  They were easy to find in the cruise terminal and at the airport.  We had a late flight and were looking for a luggage storage option so that we could roam around the city for a few hours.

That is good to hear  We are thinking of doing the same thing on our Dec cruise because we have a late evening flight.

Any tips on what not to miss "roaming around" the area? Were you able to walk to the French Quarter?

Yes, you are able to walk to the Quarter.  We had a later flight, so we looked around the Ogden museum.

How did you arrange this? First cruise. Our flight home doesn't leave until 4pm.

They are located in the cruise terminal as you exit. You set it up then.

We just did this on Sunday dec 15th. Walked off the ship with our luggage, asked for directions to advance check-in. Very easy to find and very friendly and efficient with information and coupons for the area. It worked just as planned. A representative met us with our luggage at the airport at the pre-arranged time. Highly recommend this option if you have a late flight and want to tour the area luggage free.

SO, you could do this with carry-on luggage? The rep meets you at the airport with your bags?

The representative meets you ( at the time you arranged with them) with all the luggage you left with them. Then you take it to check in at the airport. Check in what you want, carry onto the plane what you want. Easy Peasy. Highly recommend their services. Went very smooth for us.
