We used Blackberry cars, about $125.00 for 2.

Date? And more especially what day-of-the-week?

And attitudes to schlepping luggage?

 

All important factors in choosing train, bus, private transfer, ship's transfer, tour-transfer, etc

Plus anything else which might be considered relevant.

We took he train from London to Southhampton  it was good close to pier and fast .Forget what it cost.

Would recommend and have used Smith's For Airports from London to Southampton and Southampton to LHR...and also used Blackberry Car's from LHR to London...great service from both.

Price for bus tickets to London are cheaper if bought months before.  Took the bus from London Victoria Bus Station to Southampton and it was really cheap when I bought the tickets some time before.

We have used Blackberry also, plus we have a Southampton taxi driver we met up with several years ago, and I email him when we are needing to go from Southampton to London to see if he is available to drive us.

We have used International Friends for our transfer to Heathrow. We went via Bath and Lacock which was awesome.
