FLOODING IN THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER!

What do you think about the Mississippi River flooding? Also is our DREAM boat going to make this trip ok? Gosh I hope its not a nightmare! 

P.S Driving from NW Indiana that just might goof our direction up.

Any thought?

The river will be at or above flood stage for a few more months.  In the past it hasn't affected cruising.  You should be OK.

I think it floods most every spring, nothing new there.

The Bonnet Carre spillway has been opened for the 2nd time this year ( 1st time in history it has been opened twice in the same year ) which will keep the Mississippi River below flood stage in New Orleans area.  No problem for cruising.

You should be fine. The Morganza Spillway is no longer scheduled to be opened
