niciediva007 Posted March 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2019 So my whole family (5 of us, including my MIL) sailed on Elation to the Bahamas for my 40th in November. (Our second cruise) And now, the most amazing deal has popped up so we are headed to Cozumel in October with just my hubby and the kids (4). Oceanview, deck 5, on the Fantasy for less than $1500. I’m floored! Maybe this isn’t a great deal to you guys but we booked this price 7 years ago for just the two of us. Been to Cozumel twice already but we don’t care! The beach is the beach and the ocean is our happy place! Just wanting to express my giddiness! Now I’m off to budget, but AARP cards, and lose some weight so I can feel sexy(er) on the beach!! What are you guys planning??

Rare Tapi Posted March 22, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2019 I promised my wife that I wouldn’t plan another cruise for at least a year after we returned from our last cruise in February. I didn’t make it one month. I have now placed deposits for two more cruises! 😂 I’m going to hold off on telling her though. 🙊 5
schazzy Posted March 22, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Cruise on the Sunshine in 36 days, already booked for the Elation same time next year, and if we like the Sunshine, gonna book the Radiance for a 8 day in 2021. If they had 2022 sailings up, I'd be looking at those too! I may have a problem... 3 1
Djptcp Posted March 23, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2019 Love to see there are other cruise addicts out there! DH and I have our 49th cruise coming up in April and our 50th next January (35th and 36th on Carnival). We were only going to do one cruise this year, sailed on Holland America in February, but we know how that goes. Still looking for one in Nov. or Dec. 😉 2
emm126 Posted March 23, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2019 I booked the Sunrise from NY to Bermuda in September for my mom's birthday. I never book that far in advance. Seeing 200 days, 190 days when I went on Carnival's website was driving me nuts so I booked the Paradise for May. Got great casino deals, so why not!

MechE31 Posted March 23, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2019 We're right there with you. We've got 4 cruises booked going through summer of 2020. They span 3 lines and go out of 4 different ports.
PhillyFan33579 Posted March 23, 2019 #9 Share Posted March 23, 2019 I definitely have a strong case of cruise addiction. We currently have 18 cruises booked thru February 2021. Our next cruise starts tomorrow on Horizon, so the number of bookings will drop by one 😕. The last cruise we currently have booked is Mardi Gras in February 2021. We live in Florida; several of the cruises are shorter 3-4 day long weekend cruises. It helps being able to drive to 5 ports in 4 hours or less.

Wife doesn't get to make the bed for a week nor does she cook a thing for a week! That's what's addicting - the escape from normal boring life on land. .
Joebucks Posted March 23, 2019 #12 Share Posted March 23, 2019 You really can't beat fall pricing. I used to always do one summer vacation a year until I realized I can go once in the spring, and once in the fall for almost the same price as one summer vacation.

LOL We live in south Florida as well so we definitely try to fit in at least 3 a year. We have been on 2 so far this year and have an 8 day with all my in-laws for the week of Thanksgiving on Magic and can't wait! We'll definitely try to squeeze in 1 or 2 before November tho 😉

PekingeseLady Posted March 23, 2019 #22 Share Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) I think I was born to cruise. We've got our 25th cruise for our 25th anniversary to Alaska coming up April 23rd. The addict part is I just got back from a cruise to Mexico, took our Grandson for his first cruise. And I already had our next cruise booked for a B2B on the new Panorama in Jan. 2020. I also already had a Dec. 2020 for our Grandsons 2nd cruise. LOL I am a Cruise Addict!!! and proud of it. Just couldn't resist the pricing on the 12 day from Los Angeles to Alaska. Bonus, after booking my Interior cabin, because this is where the great pricing was, the upsell fairy calls and I get a balcony for only $430 total. It was $2,000 more if I booked myself. So feeling lucky, look out casino, here I come. Edited March 23, 2019 by PekingeseLady
