Absolutely, I agree 100%.  As we became more confident travelers, we tend to seek out local options.  Meeting someone like Kurt really adds so much to the experience, it's equal to the beautiful vistas.  I've found the areas that get fewer travelers and tourists have been some of the warmest and sincere people we've met, and every bit as polished and professional as the more robust areas.  They also give the opportunity to learn more about their culture, life, and challenges, and that's what helps to make this world a little smaller, at the end of the day we all have the same basic wants, needs, and dreams.

 

I anxiously await meeting my next Kurt!
