Hi, can you check out the sofa bed if you have one?  We are in a S4 suite.  Not sure  if you are in that type of suite.

We are in an S4 as well. Do you want to know how large or how comfortable? I can also ask if they are able to put a mattress topper on it if requested. Let me know and I will find out/take pics as you like.

Packing done! I will carry the wine in my small carryon. Just have toiletries, makeup and camera gear left to pack. Oh, also packed the beads and crowns for the pub crawl. The winners of the bar trivia game get the crowns!

Love that crown!! I might do a drive by on the pub crawl if hubby takes a nap.

Feel free to email me at hbccruiser@gmail.com to see where we are during the crawl. I will be able to check email and reply back as to our whereabouts!

Yes ,if  you could ask about the topper. Also how large.  I know comfort may be subjective, uness  it is really bad.  Pics would be wonderful. Thanks so much.  You are so nice to help folks out.

I know that it’s stated on the Princess website that these suites sleep 3, so my guess is that the sofa is a twin size when folded out, but I’ll check.

The foldouts appeared to be at least double sized when we were in full Suites in the past, due to the size of the sofa. We never pulled it out, but it seemed large. Maybe the sofas are smaller now? I. The mini suites the sofas used to be very large and were at least double sized.

I figure we will fold it out, have one of us lie down on it and snap a pic. That way folks can see how it might fit/sleep their third person.  I know on the NCL ships, the sofas in the Haven 2 bed suites are double-sized, but really only sleep 1 comfortably. This will be fun to compare!

What the Hooey does this mean? Worked yesterday and online? App is screwy?

I got the same error message.  I had app updates installed so thought maybe the update caused it to go hooey!

HBCruiser,   the ocean ready app has some issues.  Last month when I filled it out I got two green checks and ordered my medallions.  A week later both my wife and I got red X's saying we were not ocean ready.  So don't sweat it; once you get to port it will all work out.  Also regarding suite benefits.  I too have been in Penthouse Suites with both NCL and Princess.  I think NCL Haven guests have a few better perks than on Princess.  Princess does not have a haven;  suite guests board at same time as Elites on Princess.  You should have someone meet you at the port and they will escort you to the elite lounge; and then they will escort you the ship.(at least they did for me last month).  Suite guests on Princess do not have a haven area; you do have club class dining which is nice; not having to worry about dinner reservations; you do have breakfast in specialty restaurant every morning. Your balcony should be quite large, and you will have snacks delivered every day; plus you get one mini bar setup.  There are other perks; but you probably already know about them.  Most of all have fun.  And to all of you who are reading this post; and are on this cruise.  Have tons of fun.  Cheers

AF-1 Thanks for the info and well wishes! Did you use the Sanctuary? I’m hoping I’ll be on early enough to get 2 loungers. Do you think I’ll be able to? In the Haven it was no problem getting loungers or vibe passes if we wanted them.

We did not use the Sanctuary;  but it is beautiful.  Also on our cruise it was not used that much;  I walked by it twice and saw maybe four people in it. So good luck; you will enjoy it;  it is nice to be pampered.

Did you have to delete the app and start over?

Didn’t do anything.  But checked this morning and it’s fine now.  Probably worked out the quirks overnight?

From the Ocean.com website click on “My Account” upper right hand corner. Then select the drop down “My Journeys”. Your cruise should show up. Click on that and you will see the option to Print Medallion Ocean Pass. I saved it to a PDF and added it to a Note I have saved for this cruise. Good luck!

Thanks!  I had only visited the app, I didn't realize there was a full webpage.  :)
