We have been to Aruba a few times via ships, but this time flying in for our fun. Anyone know if taxi's will be running on Easter Sunday?

Also I have heard about long lines on departures from that airport. Anyone have any experiences on a Friday or any other day departing?

Thanks for your help.

I'm sure that there will be some taxi drivers working at the airport on Easter Sunday. We stay in Aruba every year and have left on most days of the week. We usually leave on Friday. Saturdays are a nightmare. Sundays are bad, but not as bad as Saturday. Friday is busy, but much better than the other two. The rest aren't much better than Friday because they often have less staff working, and the lines can get really long. Allow a minimum of 3 hours when you leave. Some people allow 3 - 4 on Saturday. On Friday, it can take us anywhere from 45 minutes to get through, to 2 1/2 hours on a bad day. Where are you staying?

Thanks for the info. We are trying an all-inclusive on this visit to Aruba (after two cruises there). Booked at RIU Antilles.

Have read great reviews on hotel, staff, entertainment and food. Rooms generally get the most negative comments. Hoping we get a good room with that view of the perfect sunset.

You'll have a great time there, but be sure to go off site a few nights for dinner.  Aruba has great restaurants.
