welove2cruise* Posted April 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2019 I swear I read somewhere that Los Lobos was going to be added to the Joy during the renovation. I can't seem to find that online now. Does anyone have any info?
don't-use-real-name Posted April 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2019 According to CruiseDeckPlans Los Lobos will be opposite (starboard side) of Cagney's (port side) deck 8 aft. don't-use-real-name Posted April 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2019 I would guess calling NCL for the answer would be the real authentic answer. When you go to NCL CruiseDeckPlans LINK: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/cruiseline.php?line=Norwegian Click on NCL JOY LINK: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Norwegian-Joy Click on Deck 8 - Los Lobos is there and not Le Bistro When you use the LINK provided by ParrotheadKev: https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/joy/deck-plans It shows Le Bistro The LINK https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/joy/deck-plans is probably correct as it NCLs own Some confusion that needs to be fixed. Like the OP I would like an update. I was under the impression that since the JOY is being renovated for the USA Alaska cruise market that the Mexican Los Lobos restaurant would be a more favorable addition replacing Le Bistro. Presently the DAWN has Los Lobos deck 12 port side aft and the SUN deck 12 port side aft (replacing Tapas)
Rare BirdTravels Posted April 5, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2019 The NCL deck plan is correct. Others,,,, not so much. Just because it is on the internet does not make it real.
Rare shof515 Posted April 5, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 5, 2019 The cruisedeckplan website uses the same deck plans for the Bliss and other breakaway plus ships. It is not reliable
Sand and Seas Posted April 6, 2019 #9 Share Posted April 6, 2019 So Joy will have less restaurants than Bliss? Or perhaps more will be revealed? We loved Los Lobos and Q on Bliss in addition to the 'regular' specialties the other ships have.
timf2001 Posted April 6, 2019 #10 Share Posted April 6, 2019 Joy originally had the same number of restaurants as Bliss, but the Deck 17 space (used for Le Bistro on Bliss) was taken over in order to expand the fitness center and spa (but not add a thermal suite). Originally it was supposed to be Ocean Blue that was left off, but they decided to move Le Bistro into the bigger Los Lobos space and add Ocean Blue.
