I don’t feel like there are more lines than the fantasy class, dream class or Victory (can’t remember that class of ship). As some people have said the comedy club and main theater are smaller. Yes they are but we had 0 problems getting 4 seats front row balcony last night for the welcome aboard show. We got to the show about 15/20 minutes early. Watched bingo finish and had good seats. The people that post about worst experience ever seem a little drastic. This ship is BIG!  Lots of people on board but does not feel crowded. Makes me excited to see how it will be on the Martin gras October 31 next year. 50,000 extra ton in size and extra 1000 people. Should be awesome!

I have one question, please. In the new elevators, do they stop at other floors to pickup people? If I am on deck 3 and am going to deck 9 will it stop at say deck 5 to pick people up going to deck 9 or is it always a non-stop ride for everyone? Thank you very much and have a good time.

I have only taken the elevators a couple of times. While waiting to go to dinner last night I did see them open and already have people on them, people get on, and then continue up. I will say the couple of times I have used them it seemed very fast. Again one of those things from reading posts on here people make it seem like people are lined up 100 deep to use an elevator...not the case! It is weird not having buttons inside them though.

Do you have any idea when the second formal night is?  Also do you know if there are any Yoga classes onboard or a schedule?  What time did they let you on

We are on the 8 day and formal night is today (first sea day) and Friday, second sea day after leaving Aruba on Thursday. I have attached the menu for the second sea day. If anyone else wants menus of specific days let me know!

If you have time, could you see what table games are available in the casino.  Enjoy your cruise

Any specific games you are looking for?  Walked though yesterday and looked like they had the same as all the other carnival ships I have been on. I will say it is nice that the casino is on deck 4 and not 5 like on the dream class. The smoke doesn’t fill the floor next to ocean plaza. The poker table is in the sports bar on deck 4. Really cool looking table compared to the other ships I have been on. Also nice bc they have a ton of games on the video wall in there!

The sports deck is very cool on this ship!  We wanted to try the sky ride out today but we slept in longer than usual. Long travel day before to Miami...and we went to brunch. (Do not like the new menu at all, but that’s for a different post). We went up to the skyride about 11 and the line markers said 45 minute wait. We decided we would do it on port days when less people are on the ship. But it has been open both days of the trip so far. The soccer billiards game is very fun. My wife and I both played a lot of soccer growing up and in high school but it is not easy to play. Makes it a fun challenge. Goes against everything to toe kick a ball in certain circumstances.  Will definitely be trying that many more times on this cruise. There is also a shuffle board on this ship. I know sounds weird but we like shuffle board and did not ever find one on the magic last year.

I was wondering about Let it ride.  I have seen that game disappearing.  I haven’t cruised Carnival in a couple years but the lines I have cruised have not had it.

I will take a look tonight or tomorrow for you!

Lots of "crowded" in the reviews. Do you feel more crowded than Dream class ships? (if you know). Are you

waiting in lots of lines? Is breakfast crazy? Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like the lines yesterday and today have been comparable to any other class of ship I have been on. Fantasy, Dream, and whatever class the Victory is.  Sea day today so a lot of people on lido but still does not feel crowded. This ship is bigger than dream class and the layout is really good in our opinion.  I will take some pictures over the next few days of areas around the ship during peak times so you guys can see for yourself.  And pizza......I will let the picture explain. This was taken last night about 9pm. Have never been on a ship where there isn’t a long wait for pizza. I watched them today, at lunch, put 10 pizzas in the double decker oven!

Current line status at 6:20pm first sea day. First time in all our cruises of not going to the dining room. Just wasn’t interested tonight. We came up the the lido for the deli and buffet and very surprised. Buffet food is very good with many of the same items that are on the dinner menu (no lobster of course). I understand it is formal night but again, to read some posts that there are always lines that seem to wrap the entire ship seem a little crazy to me.

Looks like yoga is Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. They also have Pilates and RYDE Indoor Cycling on other days. Let me know if you want those schedules. May have been yoga this morning but the hub app doesn’t let you go back in time.

How much fun are you having?

Having a great time. Really enjoying having a balcony for the first time. Probably won’t be able to book anything but a balcony from now on.

Waiting for the show Soul Bound on deck 5 to enter theater. Line is about 30 people on the right entrance. Can see line on left entrance as well. Show starts at 7:30 but doors open at 7

Was a mad dash to get into the theater. I have noticed a theme of some people not waiting their turn or cutting in line. They opened both sets of double doors and some people actually ran past people to get seats. Plenty of good seats still have about 5 minutes of the doors being open. Yes, this theater is smaller than other ships but just get here a little early. I do like the way they have an all glass barrier to see down to deck 4/stage area. The glass is easier to see through than how the barriers are on the Dream class ships. It was a pain having to look under a non-transparent top rail.
