Tough luck??

Hello all we have just got back from a norweigian cruise a week ago that right before we left I started with neck pain and this ruined my cruise 😞 had to see cruise doc to get iv steroids, pain meds, pretty much stayed in room.  came home had MRI and things not looking good, I may need surgery, we have another cruise booked may 17th with royal Caribbean.  My husband did not but travel insurance for whatever reason ugh. Is there anything we can do I dont think I can go. We never go on 2 cruises like this but our friends invited us to they're wedding that I couldn't go to, and we had the other cruise booked a while in advance.   Any helpful answers appreciated.

Your husband could still go. Maybe change a name and he could take a golfing buddy and friend of the wedding party. That way not all is lost.

Did he pay with credit card?  That may have travel coverage.

He did pay with credit card, I'll look into.  Really wouldnt want my husband leaving me for a week 😞 I dont know if I'm going to need surgery etc..even though I would love him to go and have fun too. Idk we will see.

Check with the cruise line - You may be able to get a partial refund. Probably not much else you can do. Good Luck, and I hope you don't need to have surgery. Ugh 😞

If cruise leaves on May 17th you could cancel and get 25% refund if you act today or tomorrow if Hubby doesn’t go.
