Seattle & Vancouver excursions

My wife and I will be taking an Alaska cruise on Oceania in July 2019. We would like to take pre and post cruise excursions in Seattle and Vancouver.  My wife has a difficult time standing a long time or walking far.  Looking for easy excursions of Seattle and Vancouver.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, the question seems to have been moved over to the correct board now!

As to answering it - OP, without a little more detail on your plans and your wife's mobility issues it's hard to look beyond a simple pre-packaged tour that is specifically sold as Pre/Post-Cruise. Both cities have them, all cruise lines resell them on their own chartered buses (so if you have a lot of cruise cash to use up, they might be worthwhile even though they're usually marked-up compared to the independently-booked versions).

For example here in Vancouver, LandSea offer a few tours that are timed to work on both Embarkation day (getting you to the pier by about 2pm) and Disembarkation day (picking up at the pier between 9 and 10am so everyone has time to get off the ship) and in both cases will pick up or drop at local hotels and the airport and train station. Duration varies from 4 to 7 hours.

If you have an overnight or more in either or both it opens more options, and these days every tour company using buses has at least some capability to handle folks with wheelchairs/scooters/walkers - so if that's the case come back and give us a bit more info your flight times, hotels etc. But if you have same day flights you should probably stick to just specific Pre/Post tours that will also get you to pier/airport.

What excursions are they offering in Seattle? I may be able to point you in one direction or another.

Mt Rainier is really too far for a one day trip, 4 hours each way easy.

There are also horse drawn carriages downtown during the summer.

Pike Place Market is good as is the waterfront but they are tearing down the Alaskan Way Viaduct and remodeling the ferry terminal so construction could have an impact.

Seattle Underground is fascinating but a fair amount of walking/stairs
