finding a cruise critic member in this web site, I only have the members log on name?

What is sop for locating a member on cruise critic? I only was given the cruise critic name for contact.

You can't contact/send a message to another CC member even if you have their CC user name.

 

If you put the person's screen name in the search box in quotes (e.g., "captain skippy") and search "everywhere," you'll find that person's posts, but, again, there is no private messaging feature here on CC, so you won't be able to contact that person.  The best you could do is find a recent post by that person and quote it in a reply (or use the @person'sname feature to get their attention  -- @CaptainSkippy )and see if they'll exchange email addresses with you.

 

If you were on a recent cruise with that person, you might try posting on the Roll Call.

 

Is it possible they only gave you their screen name because they weren't looking for further contact?
