How about on the Edge?

In Tuscan...a beautful space, esp in the am...uncrowded and unhurried,

We had great table service  for the lite menu, and really good coffee!

Thank you!  We usually do room service on port days to avoid the OV, so this will be a nice alternative.

As long as you remember that it's not a full breakfast.  Just sweet rolls and the like.

We're on the sailing right after you, embarking in Barcelona May 6th!  Please have a wonderful crossing and keep her in good shape for us 😉.  We're also Elite and will be enjoying our breakfast in Tuscan......especially the coffee!!

Elite breakfast was in the Tuscan Grill on our March Asia cruise.  Unfortunately it was plated service which we don't care for because of the amount of wastage.  In order to get my choice of smoked salmon and a croissant I had to order  a plate with smoked salmon, bagels cream cheese etc and a pastry plate which may or may not include a plain croissant.  After asking two days running for a custom plate without success, we gave up.  We enjoy the atmosphere but much prefer the buffet set up that we have experienced on other ships, when we could select exactly what we wanted.  We only encountered plated service on one other cruise and were told it was because of US health regulations that they couldn't put a buffet on a carpeted area.  There was plenty of uncarpeted space on Millennium.

Either way there will be Pastries, breads, fresh fruits, sliced meat and cheeses, sliced salmon, plus the usual fixings for it like chopped onion and capers.  Juices, smoothies, and Mimosas, bloody Mary’s, Cappuccino, Café latte, assortment of teas.

When you are sailing with a party of 2 and only 1 person is Elite, can your travel companion still join for Elite breakfast?

Yes if staying in the same stateroom.

Just off the Constellation where it was plated but had no problem just getting the salmon and cream cheese without the bagel. Also you could get just a croissant!!

Like always, different ships different way of handling things.

I’ve never had a problem getting a special item when the breakfast was plated. I like the almond croissants and the servers would just bring them whenever we sat down. The last day they would get a nice tip for the extra attention.

Agree this was a great relaxing way to start the day. Just remember there’s no food served that is served warm. Our big choice in the morning was “hot or cold”.  If we wanted hot, we went to the MDR.
