I am not sure, but it could be the area around atrium opening on deck 9 (above O"Sheehans).  There are some couches and tables and chairs.  It is mostly used during musical events in the Atrium.  Hope this helps.

I was on a 10 day cruise on the Dawn and the space was never used.  Its very cramped up there with lower than normal ceilings.  There were plenty of other quiet spaces on the Dawn with more desirable views.

You are looking down from deck 8 (O'Sheehans bar behind you)

the Java Café/Bar is below - with a piano and entertainment area

notice the stairways going from the behind the Java Café to the

next level (O'Sheehans) and then notice the second set of stairs

going up one more level to that deck 9 lounge.

This area is not completely quiet as sound travels up from the Java Cafe

deck 7 and O'Sheehans deck 8.

There are the two stairways coming up from deck 8 meeting access to the

glass atrium elevators and 4 passageway doors from the cabin areas on deck 9.

 

The LOUNGE on deck 9 is used as enterainment overflow from decks 7 & 8

Sometimes during a show there maybe beverage cocktail waiter service but

it is spotty hit and miss- have someone tipping and the waiter "I'll be back" !

 

During the day time it is a great alternative to the library for reading and

general relaxing - there are no sea views anywhere from this area.

Prior to the 2016 remodel it was the internet lounge - yes it is cramped - not sure if it was remodeled or not in 16.

It was packed (along with decks 7and 8) when there was good entertainment like Patti and Jose :)
