Bliss delayed from Mazatlan?

Just heard the Bliss was delayed from leaving Mazatlan. Was told by a passenger on board it was due to a “breakdown”. Not sure if that’s accurate, but I am seeing it was scheduled to depart at 5 PM, and I t’s now 7:30 PM and the ship is only a few miles from the coast according to Cruisemapper.

 

not trying stir rumours or anything, but I am scheduled to sail on her Sunday, flying to LA in morning... so hopefully if anything went wrong, it has/will be fixed. 

 

Can anyone corroborate?

Under way using engine at 17.6 knots according to marinetraffic  ETA in Cabo at 06:00 tomorrow.  Better not be anything wrong with the ship, I board in 10 days!

Mazatlan is one of the few rare ports where you need to take a shuttle bus/train to and from the terminal area to the ship. you can not walk to the ship. i got a feeling, the breakdown is due to a shuttle issue

18.6 knots now.  Could be that one of their excursions was late returning... likely no biggie.

I believe that the reason for the mandatory shuttle service at the port of Mazatlan is that

there is a restricted military/naval warehouse on the pier (armed guards presence) -

The shuttle service transits that area - no unwanted guests wandering around in the Zona de Restriction.
