Kotor to Dubrovnik excursion

Recommended Posts

There are buses between those two cities, but as they are also in different countries and the border might get you into trouble (especially on the way back) I don't recommend doing that trip with the public buses. And the trouble is not you, but maybe some of the locals or fugitive trying to get into Schengen-Area (Montenegro is not, but Croatia is, as I'm aware of)

Dubrovnik is anyway filled with other tourists and I don't see the point of going there if your ship is not anyway making a stopp there. Kotor is small but really a gem and it would be a pity not to stay there. If you're fit and healthy I recommend you to hike up to the chapel and the ruin of the big castle. The view is amazing from up there.

But if you're really keen to go to Dubrovnik, I recommend to do a board tour as you then are safe, if you should get delayed...
