Has anyone gone with WS to Egypt and Israel?

We are looking into the future (18mos out) at a WS cruise from Athens to Rome. The cruise includes ports in Egypt and Israel. We have been to Egypt so aren't really concerned about excursions in those ports. The Israel ports are what interest us the most and we wonder what type of excursions are offered and if the ports will be of interest. We won't be scheduling this for several months but thought I would reach out and see if any of you have an opinion.

Have you looked at this cruise on Windstar’s webpage, and seen what excursions are offered?

The excursions for the October 2020 itinerary to the Holy Lands have not been listed yet on the website.

Israel is interesting.  Been there twice. First time was  a 10 day land tour.  Next time was on a cruise.  Our best guide was Mickey Schnieder from Guided Tours Israel.  We were a group of 8.  Mickey knew when and where to go. We toured with her for 3 full days. She met us at the ports, Ashdod and Hiafa.  We decided as a group where to go.  Mickey and her driver took us everywhere we requested and more.....  We saw more in 3 days than the land tour did in 10 days.  We ate at inexpensive local places and made a few short stops to shop.

Thank you for your responses. WS has not posted the excursions for Israel as someone else pointed out. I am curious what they offer from those ports. Redtravel, if we decide to do this cruise I will check into Mickey and her driver. We frequently do private tours and have no problem with that. There are 2 full days in Haifa and one full day in Ashdod which it sounds like you had as well. Highlights for you?
